Technical Support Engineer – Infrastructure Solutions (Europe)

Project/Product Manager – Geosynthetics & Road Construction

Are you a senior leader with deep expertise in geosynthetics and road construction? We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our Infrastructure Solutions team, supporting projects across all of Europe. This is an opportunity to drive innovation and excellence in road infrastructure development, representing ADFORS solutions (asphalt reinforcement and geosynthetics) to a diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance to customers, contractors, and internal teams on the selection, installation, and maintenance of road infrastructure solutions.
• Product & Team Leadership: Drive the strategic direction of product management initiatives, overseeing projects from inception to completion to ensure the delivery of high-impact solutions across Europe. Provide mentorship and progressive leadership to develop and strengthen the project and product management team.
• Documentation Strategy & Excellence: Lead the development and continuous improvement of comprehensive technical documentation, including manuals, installation guides, and troubleshooting resources. Establish best practices and quality standards for documentation, ensuring consistency and clarity across all infrastructure products.
• Training & Knowledge Sharing: Deliver training sessions to clients and partners, promoting best practices and innovative solutions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, sales, and project management teams to achieve project milestones and business objectives.
• Continuous Improvement: Collect and analyze feedback to inform product development and optimize processes.
• Promotion & Marketing: Represent the company at industry events, fairs, and presentations, expanding the GlasGrid customer network and engaging with consulting firms and designers.

Your profile:

• Education: University degree (Ing.) or doctoral degree (PhDr.) in Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Materials Technology, Road Construction, or a closely related field.
• Experience: 8 - 12 years of progressive experience in technical promotion, project/product management, and support within the infrastructure or geosynthetics industry.
• Development Grants: Experience with securing and participating in university-based development projects is highly valued.
• Language Skills: Full professional proficiency in both Czech and English is required. Additional languages are a plus.
• Mobility: Willingness to travel across Europe (average 2–3 days per week at pic season).
• Skills: Strong presentation, project management, and communication abilities.
