We are seeking to recruit a Purchaser to take ownership of the purchasing activities for packaging materials, transportation services, and warehousing solutions. The successful candidate will play a key role in optimizing our purchasing/supply chain process, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and securing reliable partnerships with strategic suppliers and service providers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- In cooperation with Adfors CPMs participation in sourcing, negotiation, and contracting process for packaging, transport (inbound/outbound), and warehousing services.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure service quality, compliance, and long-term collaboration.
- Cooperate with internal stakeholders (logistics, production, quality, planning) to understand needs and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Develop and implement category strategies aligned with overall purchasing goals.
- Ensure compliance and support risk management initiatives across the assigned categories.
- Administrative tasks connected with the categories
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 5 years of purchasing experience, preferably in packaging or logistics categories.
- Proven negotiation and contract management skills.
- Strong analytical and project management abilities.
- Experience working in a matrix organization or across multiple sites is a plus.
- Fluent in English and Czech; additional languages are an advantage.
- Proficiency in procurement systems e.g., SAP and Excel.
